The contract is flexible and permits registration at the address.

The layout comprises a living room, two bedrooms, a private bathroom and a full kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with a hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher, and comes with a complete set of utensils, crockery and pans. There is a washing machine in the apartment, along with a TV, heating, ironing facilities, a clothes rail and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom includes a hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are provided, as are cleaning products, so no additional purchases are needed on arrival.

The free GVB ferries from NDSM and Distelweg cross the IJ to Centraal Station throughout the day, and the city centre is a fifteen-minute cycle away. The A10 ring road is close by for those driving.
